Front Desk/Guest Services Agent

Functie omschrijving

You process check-in and checksouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner
You greet and welcome all guest approaching the Front Desk
You maintain proper opeartion of the PBX console and ensure that all hotel standards are met
You answer guest inquires about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner
You actively promote hotel services and activities to guests
You maintain and market promotions and guest programs
You answer guest inquiries and provide information for guest regarding the hotelfacilities and services, restaurants, dive shop, spa, transportation, tours ect
You follow all cash handling and credit policies
You are aware of all rates, packages and special promotions
You are familiar with all in-house groups
You are aware of closed out resticted dates
You are versed in how to make room reservation
You are familiar with hospitality terminology
You have knowledge of emergency procedures and assist as needed
You always use proper two-way radio etiquete when communicating with other employees
You fully comprehende and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computes system
You able to perform and complete all task and duties on the shift checklist in timely and efficient manner
You are able to completerequired daily reports
You balance and prepare individual papaerwork for closing of shift according to hotel standards
You maintain a clean work area
You assist guest with safe deposit boxes

You have prior cash handling experience
You have good computer skills
You have high high scholl diplova or equivalent
You have the ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Tema member
You read, write and speak english fluently
