Food & Beverage Manager
Functie omschrijving
• You oversee daily food and beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and catering services.
• You develop and implement service standards, ensuring a consistently high level of quality and guest satisfaction.
• You manage, train, and schedule the food and beverage team, providing leadership and fostering a positive work environment.
• You monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock efficiency.
• You create and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
• You collaborate with the culinary team to plan and update menus, considering trends and guest preferences.
• You ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, and conduct regular staff training in these areas.
• You handle customer feedback, addressing issues promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Functie eisen
• You have minimum of 2-3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment.
• You have proven track record of managing a team and achieving operational goals.
• You have strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with both guests and staff.
• You have thorough understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, service protocols, and customer relations.
• You are proficiency in using restaurant management software and POS systems.
• You have knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in health and safety compliance.
• You are flexible to work varied hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed.
• You have problem-solving skills with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
• You have certification in food safety and hygiene.
• You have experience with event planning or catering management (is a plus).
