Waiter
Functie omschrijving
• You greet and seat customers, presenting menus and providing detailed information on dishes and beverages.
• You take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to kitchen staff.
• You serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring a high standard of presentation.
• You check on customers regularly to ensure their needs are met and handle any inquiries or issues promptly.
• You maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting up tables and polishing cutlery and glassware.
• You process payments accurately and manage receipts.
• You assist in inventory management and report any stock shortages to the supervisor.
Functie eisen
• You have previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• You are familiar with food and beverage service, including knowledge of menu items and wine pairings, is a plus.
• You have experience handling POS systems and cash transactions
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
• You have the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• You give excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
• You are flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• You have physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
• You have basic math skills for handling transactions.
• You are positive, team-oriented attitude and a proactive approach to assisting both customers and colleagues.
